3 After 909 is the first album after the 8 successful albums they made as Tristan.
As core of their groups Tristan and On Impulse, bassist Frans Vollink and keyboard player Coen Molenaar decided to keep on doing what they love most : making new music together .
Expect an album, and live experience full with funky, jazzy soulful tunes that has become their trademark over the years.
After the successful collaboration with vocalist Irma Derby and guitarist Glenn Black, on their well received album FrouFrou, they decided to team up with both of them again.
Drum hero and master of groove Arie Verhaar is making this quintet complete.
With 12 new tracks in our vocabulary, we got a fresh start on the road, doing what we love dearly: Spreading positive energy through our music, while taking our audience for a ride they won’t soon forget.The compositions are fun to play live, with plenty of space to evolve as we go.
This has been a crucial part of our style, in order to make each and every concert excitingly unique. Together we’ve been to so many parts of the world already. Not only can’t we wait to come back; We are eager to expand that incredible adventure.
With over 60 concerts, around their previous Tristan album FROU-FROU, we are so happy to announce After909 will be touring again , with dates coming up from October 2027. To celebrate our 1st album 3 after 909 we will visit Poland, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Japan and the UK.
